Begin with people and processes

Clarify the business objectives, process owners, and decisions the implementation must support. Map current processes and identify where a future process will require new skills or responsibilities.

Test the complete business journey

Configuration is one part of delivery. Data preparation, integrations, access, testing, and UAT need coordinated ownership. Use complete scenarios and documented acceptance criteria rather than isolated clicks.

Prepare for life after go-live

Plan cutover, user guidance, support ownership, and a way to collect issues. A corporate academy can prepare different roles for the tasks they will actually perform during and after the implementation.
